Examples

  • ADP - Acoustic Doppler Profiler
  • Hurricane Georges - Describes how an ADP and SonWave software were used to collect ocean-current profile data and wave data during Hurricane Georges in the Fall of 1998 off the southeast Florida coast.
  • ROV Predeployment - Describes how an Argonaut-MD is used to verify safe operating conditions before ROV deployment.
  • Stingray Generator Farm -  Describes how an Argonaut-MD is being used to measure tidal currents to accurately correlate water current velocity with the effects of tidal loading on a full-scale tidal generator near the Shetland Isles.
  • Lagrangian Float - Describes how an Argonaut-based sonar is being used in a scientific research project to study circulation and mixing in the upper ocean and coastal waters.
