Primary Applications

• Environmental modeling

• Vessel traffic systems in ports/harbors

• Shallow-water current monitoring in rivers, channels, estuaries

ADP Application Notes [PDF]

When performing water-current surveys covering large areas, or when monitoring river discharge, it is often convenient to use a boat-mounted CurrentSurveyor Acoustic Doppler Profiler (ADP) system. When operating from a moving platform, an ADP measures relative currents. With hundreds of satisfied users around the world, ADPs are proven, capable and versatile.
