ROV/AUV/UUV - Underwater Navigation
[VI-A]
I want to make measurements from an ROV/AUV/UUV... [change]

The Argonaut-DVL is SonTeks Doppler
Velocity Log (speed log). Available in two main form factors, the Argonaut-DVL is smaller,
lighter, and much lower in cost than traditional speed logs. In addition, this DVL
consumes roughly an order of magnitude less power than traditional speed logs.
Argonaut-DVLs provide navigational data such as velocity relative to the bottom,
distance to bottom (when it is within range), velocity relative to the water, and distance
traveled. Argonaut-DVLs can be configured for deployments to 6000 m and can track the
bottom up to 25 m away. In other configurations, Argonaut-DVLs can track the bottom even
when the ROV/AUV/UUV is less than 50 cm off the bottom.
