Our most common addition to the science package of an ROV/AUV/UUV has been our Acoustic Doppler Velocimeter Ocean Probe (ADVOcean). Configured in OEM form, the ADVOcean Probe can be mounted on a submersible platform to provide detailed high-resolution velocity measurements after the vehicle has reached its exploration area.

In addition, there are ROV/AUV/UUVs equipped with our Acoustic Doppler Profilers (ADPs). These instruments provide a profile of velocities in a series of layers extending away from the vehicle.

	The Naval Postgraduate School Center for Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Research has incorporated an ADVOcean into their research vehicle Phoenix. The ADVOcean, fused together with Doppler velocity log data, provides water particle velocity information to the vehicle's control systems. In addition, the ADV's installed optional compass provides a backup to the vehicle's Inertial Motion Package.
