San Diego, California, April 9, 2003 – SonTek/YSI has received orders from the U.S. Geological Survey's Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility to supply 15 more Argonaut Doppler Current Meter systems. The Argonaut-SL (side-looking) and Argonaut-XR (extended range) systems will be used to support the Water Resources Division's programs in both research and monitoring.
"While the USGS is a major customer for the Argonaut-SL format, they have also been adding many of the ADV and XR models into their equipment pool", a company spokesperson said.
