SonTek/YSI instruments are ideal for monitoring currents, tides, and waves in port and harbor areas, especially as part of a navigation and traffic control system. Systems can be direct-connected to shore, or use telemetry to relay data to a base station for use by vessels preparing to arrive at or depart from a port.

Side-Looking

Argonaut-SL Current MeterA 2D side-looking version of the Argonaut intended for side-looking operation from bridge piers or pilings. It measures remotely, avoiding flow interference from the structure. Can be used to calculate flow/discharge in rivers. A third, vertical beam is also available for stage measurements. Argonaut-XR
Extended Range

Argonaut-XR Current MeterA 3D low-profile version of the Argonaut with adjustable sampling volume size and location. The integrated pressure sensor allows a bottom-mounted Argonaut-XR to automatically adjust the position of the sampling volume with changing tide level or river stage. Argonaut XR details
