Argonaut External LCD Data Display

SonTek/YSI offers an option to let you quickly and easily view, and cycle through, real-time data that is collected with an Argonaut SL, SW, or XR system. The Argonaut data display option is an external monitoring unit consisting of an LCD and control panel.

No more laptops! The display is an integral part of a complete measurement solution for Argonaut instruments used in real-time current monitoring applications. Depending on your application (e.g., coastal, ocean, hydrology), the following parameters are available for viewing in an easy to use, easy to read format:

• Current speed
• Current direction
• Water level
• Water temperature
• Flow rate and total volume
• Total volume of water measured (i.e., flow rate * elapsed time)
• Instantaneous velocity readings
• Instant discharge readings in cfs, ms/s, lps, mgd, etc.
• System health
• Battery status

All Argonaut SL/SW/XR instruments manufactured after April 1, 2005 will automatically work with the display. In addition, the display can be used simultaneously with all existing SonTek SDI-12 and analog output functions.

Argonaut users who wish to use the display with systems manufactured before April 1, 2005 will need to have their Argonaut instrument upgraded to this new capability.
