The SonTek-IQ Window-based software package contains an all in one package for interfacing with the SonTek-IQ and the SonTek-IQ Plus.  The software is used to interface, configure the system, visualize and export data.  Users of the SonTek-IQ will see a standard feature set within the IQ software – allowing users to configure and download the instrument as well as and visualize data, while the SonTek-IQ Plus provides users additional options to re-calculate Flow, utilize a velocity index and visualize additional parameters.

Interfacing and deploying the SonTek-IQ and SonTek-IQ Plus is simple. The SmartPage has four sections, within each section, data field descriptions are presented as links within the software – this will provide added details on how to deploy the instrument. In addition each section has a status indicator that can be used to aid in deploying the instrument; status can be either, green yellow or red with green being clear and ready for deployment and red a warning indicating that the configuration should be verified.  The IQ software also has SmartQC functions built-in that warn users of potential problems at the measurement site. All of the features are included with the user in mind to enable the best possible data collection.
