FlowTracker Firmware Version
3.5
February 2008 - SonTek/YSI announces the release of FlowTracker firmware version
3.5. The changes in
this release apply only to factory testing requirements. No changes were made to
the user-interface nor to any user parameters. There is no need for any existing
system to update from v3.4 to v3.5. That is, if you already have v3.4 installed,
you do NOT have to install v3.5.
CAUTION: Follow the
instructions below based on the Serial Number of your system.
- FlowTracker Serial Numbers P135 and later
This is a FREE update for systems that currently have a system
with Serial Number P135 or later. To
update your system to this version:
- Print out these instructions as a reference.
- If necessary, download and install the latest version of
SonUtils.
- v4.20 (or
later) for
Windows Vista/XP/2K, or
- v2.50a for
Windows 98/95
- Download and install the latest version of
the
FlowTracker Software program
(v2.20 or
later).
- Download the
FlowTracker Firmware v3.5 Update Package
- This package includes release notes that explain the details about
this release. It also includes the firmware file, your
serial number access code, and instructions for loading the firmware
into your system.
- FlowTracker Serial Numbers before P135
Systems with Serial Number P1 through P134
"might" need to be
returned to SonTek for a hardware upgrade. There IS a FEE for
the hardware upgrade service. Please contact our Support team for an RMA to upgrade your
systems (support@sontek.com;
+1-858-546-8327). If your system has one of these serial numbers,
do NOT install the firmware upgrade
without first receiving confirmation from SonTek Support personnel.
Installing this firmware version on one of these older systems could
potentially lock-up the FlowTracker and make it unusable.
